  3. * Low cost credit card processing for BBS or Shareware!

  5. Now you can accept Visa and Mastercard orders over the telephone
  6. at a cost you can afford, and you can automate it with AUTOSCRIBE PCB
  7. and TelePC!
  8.  
  9. TeleFlora CreditLine, a third party credit card processing company,
  10. offers TelePC, a software product designed specifically for bulletin
  11. board users. Now you can integrate on-line credit card processing 
  12. into your existing computer system. NO extra equipment is required.
  13.  
  14. Features:
  15.  
  16. *  Visa and Mastercard at discount rate from 2.25% to 2.55% depending
  17.    upon the payment option you choose.
  18.  
  19. *  Diner's Club, Carte Blanche, JCB Card at discount rates from 3.25%
  20.    to 3.50%.
  21.  
  22. *  If you want to accept Amercian Express or Discover Card, we'll help 
  23.    arrange for you to process using TelePC. (Rates and payment
  24.    arrangements are made directly between you and American Express and
  25.    Discover Card).
  26.  
  27. *  NO minimum monthly volume requirements! (If your average ticket and
  28.    monthly volume are high, you may be eligible for even lower rates.

  30. Costs:
  31.  
  32. *   $125.00 non-refundable application fee. Whether or not your 
  33.     application is approved, this fee is not returned.
  34.  
  35. *   Discount rates listed above are deducted from your credit card sales
  36.     before you receive payment.

  38. *   $0.25 transaction fee per credit card transaction regardless of
  39.     credit card type, dollar amount, or transaction type.

  41. *   The cost of TelePC software, available from TeleFlora.

  43. Qualifications:
  44.  
  45. *   You must be at least 18 years old.
  46.  
  47. *   Established BBS or Shareware author/company that can verify a
  48.     minimum of six months operations.
  49.  
  50. *   Good personal credit. Since many BBS and Shareware companies are
  51.     not primary income sources, we use a personal credit record for
  52.     the credit check. If you have judgments, tax leins, and unpaid
  53.     accounts, you're likely to be declined. 
  54.  
  55. *   U. S. - based company only. You may accept credit cards issued by
  56.     foreign banks, but we are only permitted to handle U.S. based
  57.     merchants.
  58.  
  59. *   For a BBS, we need access to your telephone numbers, Hours of 
  60.     operation, and supported connect rates (2400bps, v.32, HST, etc.)
  61.     If new callers are severely restricted, we need to arrange access
  62.     so we may log on and take a look around.
  63.  
  64. *   For ShareWare, we need to see the programs you offer. A description
  65.     and filename should be enough, but please provide a KNOWN source
  66.     in case we have difficulty finding the program(s) locally.
  67.  
  68. *   No 'ADULT' boards or Shareware.  This requirement becomes very
  69.     subjective, so if you are unsure if this applies to your board or
  70.     program, give us access to take a look before you send in your
  71.     application (and non-refundable $125.00). If you permit 'X' rated
  72.     GIF's or if your baord is primarily 'adult' conferences and files,
  73.     you will NOT be approved. If you offer a small amount of non-explicit
  74.     'adult' products, you might qualify.

  79.     Monday thru Friday. If you call on weekends, just leave a message.
  80.     Let us know that Gary Smith of Computer Profiles informed you about
  81.     the service/program. You'll get an application packet in the mail
  82.     within ten business days.
